The University Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Oxford is the parish church of Oxford University. Originally built in the 13th century, it has seen many historic sermons over the centuries. It is also notable for its unusual architecture and the fine views provided by its tower. Catering is available from the immensely popular Vaults and Garden Coffee Shop. The Old Library of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin was built in 1320 and is the first university (as opposed to college) building in Oxford.
